Statement of California State Senator Pete Knight on Transit Mixed Concrete Proposal

“Southdown (Transit Mixed’s parent company) maintains a well-received facility in the Victor Valley portion of my district and they have a solid reputation as a good neighbor and employer. I wanted to take the time to make a determination based on the facts of this individual proposal. Once I completed my research, it was clear that this project is not in the best interest of Santa Clarita and I am happy to offer my support and assistance.”
